International students need to submit original copies to the university during admission. At the time of application, scanned copies may be uploaded. Also, students need to ensure that all the documents are in English or accompanied by certified English translations. Generally, the following documents are required during application, however, additional documents may be required as per program/course:

• Academic certificates

• Financial transcripts

• Photocopy of passport

• English proficiency score

• Letters of Recommendation (LORs)

• The authorization request form (if applying through an agent)

• UCAS Essay (for UG)

The University of the West of England admissions requirements vary as per the course levels. The undergraduate and postgraduate entry requirements are given below:

Undergraduate

• The applicants are required to have a Higher Secondary School Certificate / Indian School Certificate (Class 12) from the following boards: CBSE / CISCE / WBCHSEB with 65% including Grade C in at least 5 subjects
• The applicants who have done Class 12 from other state boards should contact the International Development Office for further information

Postgraduate

The University of the West of England offers scholarships to international students. The details of some of the scholarships for which international students are eligible are given below:

• Chancellor’s Scholarship: This award allows 50% of the tuition fees. Also, recipients will be required to undertake an internship working within the International Office or other departments, and will be required to undertake ambassadorial activity
• GREAT Scholarships: This scholarship is applicable to Indian students applying to UWE Bristol. This scholarship offers financial support of a minimum of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK
• International Students Scholarships: This scholarship is offered by UWE Bristol. As per this scholarship, students are offered £4,000 (first-year only) for students joining the undergraduate courses and postgraduate taught courses
