No, Imperial College London generally only accepts the national Indian boards like CBSE and CISCE for UG admissions. The state boards qualification is not accepted on its own.

In CBSE also, the students need a minimum of 90% to 92% accross 5 subjects

If you have a state board degree, you would require to use a supplement like -

  • GCE A-Levels
  • International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma
  • Advanced Placement (AP) courses

No, Indian students do not always need to submit an IELTS score for the University of Southampton admissions. This university accepts specific Indian-school-level English qualification in place of IELTS.

Check the pointers given out to see if you qualify for an IELTS waiver

  • If you have studied at a CBSE or CISCE school for the final four years of your education and also scored at least 70% in English in class 12th, then you do not need to take IELTS

  • If you do not meet the above requirement, then you would need an IELTS band score of 6.5

Tests like TOEFL iBT (92 overall score) and PTE (62 overall score) are also accepted.&nbs
