Hi Vismay,
To study medicine/MBBS in UK, you must clear the UKCAT (UK Clinical Aptitude Test) and have secured at least 75%. 60% is hardly accepted. Admissions are competitive and very strict for medical studies, so you must check directly with the universities. You can check the University of Buckingham and St. George's, University of London. You can keep alternate options open such as Philippines or Russia, UK as it is will be extremely competitive basis your grades.
Good luck.

The ranking for LBS vary between 1 to 3, so you can understand the quality of study they provide and what type of students enter there. Hence, you need an excellent profile to confirm your seat, here is the criteria:
GMAT : 700+, prefer to score 720.
EXPERIENCE : Work experience is very important, this is like an important feather in your profile. It is better to add 2 years of experience in your profile.
CGPA : need to maintain 3.5+ CGPA out of 4.
All the best.

Normally, it requires four years Bachelors degree from a mainstream university (state/federal or deemed' institution) passed with a final mark of first class with distinction or a CGPA of at least 9/10. Applicants graduating from one of the elite Indian Institutes of Technology should have completed a four years Bachelors degree completed with a CGPA of 7.5/10 or better.
Kindly, note that they are normally unable to accept three year Bachelors degrees unless they are accompanied by a Masters degree, with both qualifications awarded with at least first class honors from a mainstream university and also with a distinction or 9 CGPA / 10 C

Hi Pravesh,
There is no specific cut-off for class 12th. An upper first class is usually preferred. Similarly, there is no specific cut-off for graduation. What you need is a good undergraduate degree, upper first class will be given preference, test scores like GMAT or GRE, IELTS or TOEFL and most importantly work experience.

If you want to come back to India then it is good. But, I would refrain from going to UK because of the brexit and because of the tuition fee that has been increased for international students. Also, the jobs have been dried up there.
It is better to go for Canada or USA for it.

University of Leeds is a prestigious university in the world, so the value of the degree is great. But one thing is, as per UK VISA rule, you cannot stay in UK after your study. If you have a job, then only you can stay. So choose minutely. All the best.
