The admittance rate at the University of New Hampshire is 87%. The high acceptance rate demonstrates the university's lax policies and follows a holistic admissions process. In addition to academic achievement, the university places a high value on extracurricular activities, voluntary work, and general personality. To have a good chance of being chosen, students must participate in extracurricular activities and achieve extraordinarily high grades in high school or college.
