Yes, Icahn school of Medicine admits International students. Students from various countries come here including Indonesia, Cambodia, India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam. The campus of the university comprises of a number of departments, institutes, and centers related to medicinal research theories. Some of the major departments are neuroscience, dermatology, environmental medicine, and public health, pharmacological sciences, and microbiology. These departments are well-maintained and provide ample knowledge. These courses are the cause of attraction for the International students.

A selected group of international students are granted merit-based scholarships by Emory University's Office of Undergraduate Admission each year. Every year, between 8,000 and 10,000 students apply to be Scholars, out of which 175–200 of the students are chosen to be Scholar Finalists. The scholar finalist has to attend the on-campus Scholars Finalists Visit held in the spring.
The financial aid application process is completely different from the Scholar selection process. Merit scholarships are given out ahead of financial aid when a student qualifies for both.
