Indian students must meet the FIT admission requirements as per the programme to get admission to the university. Mentioned below are the Fashion Institute of Technology admission requirements for international students:

FIT NYC UG requirements

·      Submit an official transcripts

·      Complete a high school degree with a qualifying GPA.

·      A current TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, or Duolingo English Test score is required.

·      Must submit the International Student Financial Statement (ISFS) If you require F-1 student status to study at FIT.

·      SAT and SAT9 test scores are optional and they are not required for admissions purposes.

·      Submit a portfolio for evaluation if you apply for admission to Film and Media or any major in the School of Art and Design.

FIT NYC PG requirements

·      Complete a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with a qualifying GPA.

·      Must submit official transcripts from each college or university attended.

·      Two or three references are required depending on the program.

·      Must provide a resume or CV that includes your employment and other professional history.

·      GMAT and SAT9 test scores are optional.

·      A current TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, or Duolingo English Test score is required.

·      Submit a portfolio to demonstrate your skills, experiences, etc.

Applicants must complete a bachelor’s degree for Masters of Arts admission to the Fashion Institute of Technology (NYC). Mentioned below are some of the NIT NYC requirement for Masters of Arts program:

·      Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university,

·      Submit official academic transcripts or course-by-course International Credential Evaluation

·      2 Letters of Recommendation

·      Curriculum Vitae/ Resume

·      1 short written response/1 optional short written response

·      English language proficiency scores

·      GRE scores is optional and it is not required
