UM-Flint is a campus where mostly commuter campuses with students living with their families or on their own in the surrounding areas. Whereas the UM-Ann Arbor is a residential educational community in which nearly 100 percent of first-year students live in campus housing.

Some of the tips for students starting their first-semester at the UM Flint are:

  • Students who applied for  University of Michigan must be humble and should interact with as many people as possible. Mainly beacause, the more people you talk to the better knowledge you get. 
  • Attend as many gathering and parties as much as you can. 
  • Applicants should avoid missing classess, as 70% of learning comes from students going to classes. 
  • Students can get invovlved with extracuricular activities, i.e joing university clubs, sports etc. This will also look good on a portfolio in the longer run.

Although Union Christian College has well maintained campus but St Joseph's College is more concerned in academic excellence. There is various programs offered in linguistics disciplines at St Joseph college.

Union college focus more on extra curricular activities whereas St Joseph college is more inclined towards academic excellence and overall development of candidates.

For BTech, MIT fees for Indian students will be between INR 44 Lacs – INR 50 lakh. The fees will vary from course to course. Besides the tuition fees, students have to pay the amount for living expenses too. These expenses will include components like books and supplies, hostel & meals, personal expenses, other expenses, etc. The living cost for BTech courses at MIT will be around INR 17 - 18 lakh.
