Choosing between Minnesota State University (MSU) and Mercy College for your depends on your priorities and goals.

The good points about studying in MSU are

Affordability: Public universities like MSU are generally cheaper than private colleges like Mercy College. This can be a significant factor, especially considering the cost of an MBA program.

Regional Ranking: MSU ranks well within the Midwest region according to U.S. News & World Report, indicating a good overall programs.

I believe these two points only beat Mercy college at a glance since it is a very small private institution so I think that the MSU should be only stop without comparing it with Mercy college.

Totally depends on your course, duration and where and how you want to live. Let’s consider that you are going for a two year master program. There are many scholarships for International students at MSU which includes Indian students itself. The two most popular ones are;

1-     International Maverick Scholarship.

To avail this scholarship an International student must:

• Maintain valid F-1 or J-1 immigration status
• Achieve a term GPA of 2.5 or a cumulative Minnesota State Mankato GPA of 3.0
• Successfully earn/complete a minimum of 12 credits each semester Complete 30 hours of volunteer service each academic year.

This scholarship is for all new under-grad students and the ones who maintain the aforesaid pointers from year 1 automatically get it renewed in consecutive years.

2-     Global Maverick scholarship.

To assist students from underrepresented countries, Global Education sponsors 20 scholarships for first-year F-1 students from target locations. Each scholarship is valued at $4,000 and awarded over 4 years of undergraduate study. Additionally, each recipient will receive personalized help in securing on-campus employment starting their first semester on-campus.

Except these there are also scholarships (ONE-TIME) awarded on past academics and referral scholarships too of 500$ that referrer and referee both will get.
