International students can apply in two main intakes for Cal State University Los Angeles. These intakes are Fall which starts in August or September months and Spring starting in the month of January. The Cal State Fall intake is the primary intake in which most of the courses begin. However, the deadlines generally depend on campus. International students need to apply before these key deadlines by having all the important documents.

If you wish to study at FSU as an international student, you must submit some mandatory documents mentioned below for a US Student Visa. You must also pay the US Student VISA application fee by the end of the process. Check the list below -
- Valid passport with validity date of at least six months beyond period of stay
- Copy of DS-160
- SEVIS Fee Receipt
