Many places need people who can work, and they might prefer students because they don't have to employ them full-time. St. John's University also offers part-time jobs in various schools and departments. About 1,500 students work there each year. The university pays a good hourly wage & lets students choose flexible hours. But there aren't a lot of positions available, and getting a job is not guaranteed.
