Mississippi State University's admission requirements for international students comprise of proof of proficiency in the English language as a major entry requirement. However, students can study in MSU without ELP scores if they meet at least one of the criteria listed below:

  • ACT score: 19 or higher in the English section; OR
  • SAT score: 510 or higher in Evidence-Based Reading and Writing section.
