Tim Walz, the 41st governor of Minnesota is a notable alumni of MSU Mankato. Walz graduated with a MS in Educational Leadership from the institute in 2001.
Walz was also a nominee from the Democratic party for the US Vice Presidential Elections of 2024, and has formerly served as a non-commissioned officer in the United States Army.

On-campus employment is allowed for international students at USC. F1 students can work up to 20 hours a week during the Spring and Fall semesters. During the breaks, students can work 40 hours a week (full-time) during the semester breaks. A lot of international students apply for the following positions:

International students at ASU University USA are eligible for work done and paid by ASU and for work done and paid by ARAMARK Campus Dining and Follett Bookstore. This includes hourly jobs, Research Assistant (RA), and Teaching Assistant positions. Stipend jobs can also be done.
