To take admission to the MBA course, NYIT admission requirements are given below:
- The applicants are required to have a BS degree or its equivalent from an accredited college or university
- Minimum undergraduate 3.0 GPA
- GMAT score is not required, but is accepted in exceptional cases
- Completed application and submission of application fee
- Copies of undergraduate transcripts
- Copy of College Diploma or proof of degree

NYIT has mentioned that as such GMAT is not requirement for MBA admission. It can be submitted toward the fulfillment of the MBA admissions criteria if the applicant's undergraduate GPA is below 3.0. Note that the applicants are considered for admission if they receive a satisfactory composite GMAT score, which will be determined by the graduate faculty and will consist of a numerical calculation of the applicants' undergraduate GPA and GMAT score.

Graduate Admissions
