Washington Uni is not an Ivy League University. University of Washington is considered public Ivy school which means it offers a similar quality of education to Ivy League schools. The University of Washington has been ranked #12 among best global universities by US News in 2026.

However, for freshman international students, the 3-year average admit rate is 44%. The middle high-school GPA as per the data of Autumn 2021 was 3.73 - 3.96 on a 4.0 scale. According to the data of Autumn 2021, for the Engineering courses, the admit rate of international students was 41%, whereas, the admit rate of Computer Science / Computer Engineering was 4%.
