Hi, Stanford has a very low acceptance rate and very selective. If you are aiming Stanford then you must be a highly brilliant kid with solid extracurriculars and skills which is keep you ahead of the many competitive applicants who will apply to Stanford. Hi Priestly,
University of Pennsylvania is one of the top ranking universities in USA and also in the world. Thousands and thousands of students apply and only the best of the best gets selected. This indicates very good GPA is expected, around 8 on a scale of 10. Besides, very good extracurricular activities are also required. In cases where GPA is not very high, it is the student's extracurricular activities which will help him/her. Very good SAT and SAT subject tests scores or ACT, TOEFL etc. will be required. If you are applying for Masters you must take the GRE.
