There is an Indian student organisation at SJSU. A few of the activities that this student organisation does are:
- SJSU Indian student organization welcomes new Indian students and supports them while settling by offering airport pickups, pre-arrival guidance, etc.
- Organizes festivals like Holi, Diwali, Independence day, etc. to promote Indian culture and traditions
- Hosts Bollywood nights, movie screenings, cricket tournaments, etc.

Yes, all F1 students, even those in the first semester, can work part-time while studying at SJSU. They can work for a 20 hours max when the school is in session and full-time during semester breaks. They can work as Teaching Assistant, Spartan Shop student worker, Student Assistant, etc. Students can work off-campus at the location educationally affiliated with SJSU.

Anant Ambani is one of the well known alumni members at Brown University USA. UCLA does not have a specific GPA requirement for incoming freshman student athletes, while they are no minimum GPA for freshmen applicants. A 3.2 GPA is required for transfer applicants to be considered; however, a strong Academic record, including a high GPA still important for admission and for demonstrating Academic readiness for the university rigor.
