Yes, faculty at the Uni of Kansas are usually very supportive. Professors and their assistants take time out from their schedule to help out students and guide them.
According to a KU student, the faculty do a great job of clearly explaining concepts and giving engaging lectures.

The Uni of Kansas has a campus police that patrols the area night and day. Emergency medical services are also available. Students planning to transport late at night can use SafeRide and SafeBus between 10:30 pm and 2:30 am, for free.
