The University of Virgnia received almost 60,000 applications from prospective students, of which 9,900 were offered to enroll at the UVA campus. However, about 3,900 students decided to accept the admission offer by the university, suggesting that the UVA acceptance rate stands at 16.8%. This makes the admission criteria of the university extremely selective.
UVA acceptance rate for international students on the other hand, stands at just 10.4%, which is even lower than the general admission rate, pointing to extreme competition in securing a seat at the University of Virginia.
