Tarleton is known for offering higher level education in a number of formats including UG & PG degree courses, doctoral courses, certification programs & associate level degree courses.

However, its Engineering, Business & Management Study courses along with Healthcare courses are among its more popular ones.

According to the official website, a minimum GPA of 3.61 or higher is considered appropriate for applicants, as the programs have high demand. The admssion process is considered somewhat selective as American University acceptance rate is around 47.38%. It is crucial for aspiring applicants to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria for academic and English language requirements as per the programme they have selected. Submission of addtional documents is also necessary as it would increase the chances of acceptance.

No, the American University does not ask for ACT/SAT scores for admission in undergraduate programs. AU is one of those universities in the USA which follow test-optional policy, hence, the only admission requirement includes fulfilling the minimum academic requirements and English language proficiency requirements by international students. However, some courses might have some specific requirements, hence it is recommended to thoroughly going through the course specific requirements while filling out the application form.

International applicants must pay the American University application fee,   for the respective programs applied to after completion of their application. Failing to do so would result in the unsuccessful submission of application. Below are the application fee as per different programs present in the university:

  • UG: USD 75 (INR 6.4 K)
  • PG: USD 55 (INR 4.7 K)
  • MBA: USD 100 (INR 8.5 K)

(USD 1 = INR 85.40)
