The minimum TOEFL score required to study in MIT or Stanford are: 

  • MIT TOEFL cut-off: usually 100 or more
  • Stanford TOEFL cut-off: also 100, and sometimes want at least 22 in each section

There are two methods to apply to a MIT scholarship:

  • Via CSS Profile:  The College board provides a tool that gauges whether a student is eligible for a MIT scholarship or not
  • Income or Parental Tax return document: A English translated version of your parent's tax return is to be submitted through the IDOC platform managed by the College Board.
