URochester acceptance rate 2025 stands at 40.1% which means that out of every 100 student university likely admit around 40 students. This suggests that admission process of U of R are moderately selective.

On other hand Uni of Rochester acceptance rate for international students stands at just 18% which means the competition is extremely tough for international applicants and securing admission.

Yes, Lewis is a Catholic university that offers higher education courses, centered around the values of wisdom, knowledge, justice & fidelity.

The institute began in 1932, under the guidance of the Chicago Achdiocese & Bishop Bernard J. Shiel, under the name: Holy Name Technical school for Boys, that specialised in Aviation technology education.

In 1952, it was renamed to: Lewis College of Science & Technology.

In 1960, Saint John Baptist de La Salle, founder of the Patron Saint of Educators took over control of the institute.

The average GPA of the accepted members of the Class of 2023 student body at Lewis University was 3.58 on a 4.0 scale.

The institute considers applicants with minimum GPA score 3.0 or more, however, a score around the 3.5 mark gives students a very good chance of admissions at the institute.
