Moving on, according to 'University Ranking' category of US World and news 2024, University of Massachusetts Lowell ranks #1205, which is a decline from its previous year rankings which was #1136. Accordin to ARWU rankings, UMas Lowell rankings are #901 for the year 2022. 

Howerver for the subjects such as Law and Political Sciences, the university ranks better.

Yes, considering the University of New Hampshire's acceptance rate which is nearly 87% calculated as per the unofficial source getting admission at the university is not too tough and students with good academic excellence long with all the other requirements such as test score and supporting documents can easily get chance to study at the university.

Yes international students are welcomed at University of Massachusetts Lowell. Since 4 years, this university has high acceptance rate.

There are fluctuations in applications received with peak of 12,858 in 2020-21 and slight dip to 12,497 in 2023-24 still no. of admitted students has steadily increased, reaching 10,644 in 2023-24. Data given tells us that there is growing effort to accommodate more students.
