Yes, North Carolina State University USA permits international students to work while studying. Overseas students must be mindful of the fact that they can work no more than 20 hours per week while classes are in session and it is essential that this employment does not interfere with a their academic program. During vacations, they can work for unlimited hours.

International students at the University of Texas at Dallas are eligible for on-campus employment. F1-Visa holders are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week during the Fall and Spring semesters. Note that full-time employment is allowed (21+ hours per week) during the university-designated breaks with supervisor approval.
