Rutgers University acceptance rate is around 79%. This university follows a holistic admission policy. The acceptance rate of this Rutgers Newark suggests that it is less selective. Indian students with a good academic record have a higher chance of admission.

Yes, the SUIE admission dates can vary a lot for the different graduation programs here. The popular SUIE courses such as Art Therapy Counselling, MS in Psychology may generally have an earlier admission deadline like Jan 15.

Some programs also have a rolling admissions policy. This would mean that the applications are reviwed as soon as they are received.

As per the SIUE admission requirements, international students need to either have a really good GPA or have a high score in the standardized entrance tests like SAT or ACT.

So, if an applicant's GPA is between 2.0 and 2.59 on a 4.0 scale, they would need a minimum score of 990 (in Evidence based reading and writing + math).

By meeting these requirements, the applicant would be automatically admitted to SIUE.

With the university's high acceptance rate, it maybe very easy for Indian students to get admission here. SIUE requires the applicants to have a minimum GPA of 2.75 on a scale of 4.0 for the UG students.

In case of not having the mentioned GPA, Indian students are expected to score well in exams like -

  • ACT - 19+
  • SAT - 990+

Based on the admission rate of over 97%, it can be easy to get into SIUE as an Indian student.

This acceptance rate tells us that this university awarded admission to almost everyone who applied.

But it is definitely very important to meet the SIUE admission requirements to be able to get into it.

Yes, deferral to the next intake at Purdue University is very possible for Indian students.

If an applicant has received an offer letter for the Fall intake, they can get it deferred for the Spring or Summer intake, given that the particular course is available in that semester.

The students can simply do it via the official admission portal and by writing an email to the Purdue admissions office

Yes, for some selected courses at UG and PG levels, Purdue University offers the Spring and Summer intakes. Although the Purdue fall semester is the most popular intake, a wide range of courses is offered.

The application for the Spring intakes generally start from the month of September and go on till November. And the Summer ones go on between January and April.

There are some courses like Masters in Engineering, where only the Fall semester is available.
