UGA has over 700 student organizations. A few of the student organizations specifically for international students are the Arab Cultural Association, Indian Student Association, Vietnamese Student Association, Nepalese Student Association, etc. Indian Student Association (ISA) particularly hosts several events that act as ice-breakers for new students. These events include India Night (the annual cultural extravaganza), India's Independence, Indian festivals, etc. This Association acts as a liaison between Indian students at UGA and the Indian, and international cultures including students, community, and faculty members.
