In the National Universities 2025 edition ranking, ODU ranking is #296 in 2025. In 2024, the university was placed at #280 position in the U.S. This shows that the university's position has declined a little, still it has managed to stay in the Top 300 Universities in the U.S. In the same category, ODU ranked at #299 in 2023 and at #263 in 2022.
