After the submission of the application, it may take 6-8 weeks to get an admission decision from UH. It may take longer for students applying to the impacted majors. Once an admission decision has been made, students are going to be notified via email and admission status in myUH portal will be updated.

Overall, Fordham University is a good school located in New York. It is known for having a high selection criteria while having an acceptance rate as 56.3% (as of Fall 2023). The university follows a holistic admission policy. For the undergraduate class of 2027, the statistics were as follows:

 

High-school GPA: 3.80

SAT Middle 50%: 1370 – 1500

ACT: 31-34

The university has a good reputation around New York, especially Bronx. Also, being a Jesuit University, it places high emphasis on academics.
