Students must fulfill the basic eligibility including proof of high school completion for UG and a bachelor's degree for pursuing a PG. The San Jose State University requirements for international students are given below:

UG Requirements:

  • Three years of preparatory mathematics with a C grade or better
  • Official transcripts
  • English language requirement
  • GPA of min 2/4 scale

Graduate Requirements:

  • English language requirements
  • SOP
  • 2 LOR
  • GRE/GMAT (optional)

The minimum required cumulative GPA for undergraduates is 3 and 2.5 for graduates on the 4-point scale. Students with a 3.3 GPA surely get admission to UG or PG programs if they follow the other required eligibility requirements. Students must have proof of high school completion in case of UG and a bachelor's degree for pursuing a PG at SJSU.

With an 85% acceptance rate, San Jose State University is not tough to enter. The high acceptance rate shows that the university follows a holistic easy approach during admission. They judge students based on academic GPA, rigor of secondary high school records, and more factors. Getting into Earlham College is considered moderately competitive. The acceptance rate of the college is 74%. Earlham College is a test optional college so SAT ACT scores are not mandatory to submit. However, half the applicants admitted to Earlham College who submitted test scores have an SAT score between 1178 and 1363 or an ACT score of 23 and 30. A GPA 3.61 is considered safe for admission. Students need to have Official Secondary School Records and Exam Results and international students require English proficiency test scores. Applicants have to submit letter of recommendation from counselor or teachers.

Additionally, the College is now ranked 21st for value, up from 24th the year before. It ranked #322 in the top colleges list and #286 in America's Best Value Colleges in 2019 forbes rankings.
