The biggest college fest in Pune is Sympulse, is the international student fest of Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Pune. Spread across a span of five days, the fest provides students from junior and under graduate colleges a chance to participate and explore. Be it an exposure to the different worlds of business and management, a chance to discuss world issues at an international model UN conference, participating and showcasing talent in a cultural extravaganza or showing their competitive spirit through sports, Sympulse has it all. With immense and growing national and international participation, Sympulse aims at being one of the premier fests of the country and an unforgettable experience for all.

The extra-curricular is run by the students and help the students gain important life and business skills. Sympulse is the most happening fest in Pune and is one of the biggest events all around the year

These are some helpful tips - 

Ok so give some time to explore these things to feel more comfortable such as campus, classrooms, administrative office, facilities and cafeteria. 

Here is a programme named as orientation, it provides important information about the rules and resources available to students. 

Make a routine for coursework because it will help you manage your workload.

Everytime participate actively in classes because it will make you understand more towards subject and build the relations with classmates and teachers.

It's important to balance your social and academic life both as you prioritize your studies but also give time for social activities and your hobbies.

Sleep timely, eat well and manage your stress through exercise.

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesda, it is formal dress.

SCMS has a proper formal clothing sense which includes a Shirt, Pants, Blazer, and tie and it is compulsory to wear decent clothes. 

No crop tops for girls, no ripped jeans, no slippers, for boys too wear shoes and proper attire.

As per the guidelines of Symbiosis International University the student dress should benefit the institute that they represent and reflect the stature and the class of Symbiosis. They shall not be permitted to wear revealing clothes. The appearance of the students at all times on campus should be neat and tidy with well-kept hair.
The following will be the dress code to be followed by the students:
Monday and Tuesday: Uniform prescribed by the Centre
Wednesday and Thursday: Formals
Formals for this purpose include;
For Boys- Open collar Shirts, Formal trousers, leather belt and Leather shoes.
For Girls- Formal shirts, Formal trousers, Knee length formal skirts and Leather shoes and Salwar
Kameez or Churidar Kurta.
Friday and Saturday: Casuals.
Casuals for this purpose mean;
For Boys- T-Shirts or Kurta with full jeans. (Low waist jeans are not allowed)
For Girls - T-Shirts or Kurti with full jeans. (Low waist jeans are not allowed), Salwar
Kameez, Churidar kurta.
Note: Students have to be in Uniform for Guest lectures, Workshops, Industry visits and
Examination (Internal and External), Presentations and any other Formal functions

1. There are very good hostel facilities for girls it is very secure and safe. Boys students can get private hostel easily nearby college.
2. In Hostel, mess charges is 58650 rs/year for veg/non veg and hostel fee is ranges from 92000 rs/year to 119850 rs/year depending upon room facilities.
3. The following four hostels have been earmarked for students taking admission in the first year:
   • Daisy - 3 x sharing for Girls located at a distance of 1 km from the campus.
   • Orchid - 2 x sharing for Girls co located with Daisy.
   • Daffodil - 2 x sharing for Girls located at a distance of 300 mtrs from the campus.
   • Kopou - 3 x sharing for Boys located at a distance of 600 mtrs from the campus.
4. The seats of the hostels are limited in number and are allotted on first cum first serve basis. All correspondence is by e-mail. The contact E- mail IDs are:

7. Each student staying in the room of the hostel is provided with the following items:
   • Bed with mattress
   • Cupboard
   • Writing table and Chair
   • Book rack
   • Soft board
   • Attached toilet/bathroom
8. Bus services are provided for students staying in Daisy/Orchid hostel only for commuting to and fro to the Institutes and back, other hostels are within walking distance.

The college life basically depends upon person based on their individual experiences. But some people are very genuine like friends and seniors too where they can help and support you in every way. And The academic environment involves attending lectures, participating in practicals working on projects. In the campus, there is a nice cafeteria.

Student Organizations and Clubs: GNIOT often has several student organizations, clubs, and societies that cater to different interests and hobbies. These could include getting involved in these clubs and organizations can provide opportunities for personal growth, skill development, and networking.

So many internships programs of different companies are provided by college.

Events are organised by college which includes college festivals and fest and it would be chance to show the talents while participation and enjoy the college life.
