IIT Kanpur BTech cutoff trend is on the decreasing side in recent past. In 2022, the closing rank for BTech. under general category for all India quota was 1368. 

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for BTech in Chemical Engineering at IIT Kanpur other than General category are - 2034 for OBC, 1281 for SC, 678 for ST, 762 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.
