Students have to pass the 12th exam with 50 percent marks for general and 45 percent marks for reserved categary if you don't get it then university doesn't give admission in any case then you have to pass the entrance exam but if you have failed to give the entrance exam still you have to fill the form for admission which is approximately 2000 Rs then you have to contact the director for admissions for the subject in which you want to take the admission. If seats are left in that subject after counselling because first they give chance to the students who have cleared entrance then after if seats are left they give admission to the st

College life is very good in Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, no politics is there in the university. University focuses on extra curriculum activity including all kinds of indoor and out sports. The classrooms are big and well maintained. Department is beautiful and big, libraries are also good.

University has its own separate boys and girls hostels. There is 4 hostels for boys and 4 for girls also for UG they have old hostel and new hostel international hostels 1 for international students and international hostel 2 indian students can also take room in that hostel and 1 hostel for PG students for boys and girls separately. Beyond that you can take room outside in hostels such as super delux PG hostel, sangam hostel ond other hostel are available nera university within the range of 1 km.

Firstly the candidate has to pass the class 12 exam with 50 percent marks for general and for reserved category 45 percent after they have clear the entrance exam which is conducted by the University.

The most important thing is curriculum is quite different from the other universities it gives extra importance to practical subjects and seminars related to startups many universities except iits and NIT don't focus on it but thus university focus on it and there is no pressure of exams on the students tier semesters are divided in three parts pre mid term, mid term and final exam easily you can pass the exams whatever teacher teaches in the class, almost questions come from there and even you need not to consult the books only the notes are enough to pass the exam.

There are 6 faculties at Purvanchal University. Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University offers various courses at UG, PG, and Diploma levels in full-time mode.
