I could only talk about Chandigarh University as I have not experienced and heard about other university. First you have to satisfy minimum eligibility criteria that is minimum 55%(45% for SC/ST) marks in BSc or qualifying degree and minimum 50% marks in qualifying exam then cutoff will decide on basis of numbers of candidates appeared in exam and difficulty level of exam.

The marks required for taking admission in CUET exam are 300-400. You can easily get admission at BHU only. As you know In DU you need atleast 95% marks in your subject so i think it is difficult for you to take admission there. So please try at BHU

It was formerly known as central Hindu college a collegiate central university located in Varanasi Uttar Pradesh. It is a very prestigious university with one of the highest ranking in India. The cutoffs vary from year to year. That is they do not remain the same all time. The university conducts an entrance exam every year. But , yes you can still get admission even though you got B grade. Start your preparation right away for the entrance examinations and start preparing for group discussions and personal interview.There are no hard and fast rules when it comes to cracking any exam.

Allahbad University has a cutoff criteria for 45 per cent if you apply for their law programme. The STs and OBCs have a very less requirment as that's 42 for SCs and 40 per cent for the OBCs.

University of Allahabad offers M.Sc botany PG program in full time. The focus areas which are identified by the U.G.C. as areas of excellence:
1. Palaeobotany and Morphology.
2. Microbiology (including Pathology, Mycology and Phycology).
3. Plant Physiology.
