No, NEET is not mostly mandatory in order to get admission to most of the paramedical courses in Uttarakhand. The procedure of admission is usually subjective to an examination known as Uttarakhand Paramedical Entrance Examination, which is administered by Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU). But in the case where certain paramedical courses such as B.Sc. Nursing or BPT are offered, they could take NEET marks or carry out their own entrance exams or even a direct entry on the basis of merit of the 12th.
