The session 2 of JEE Mains exams are expected in the month of April. Interested students for admission in GBPUAT BTech course are highly suggested to appear for the exam and score decent marks. The counselling process for admission into GBPUAT is organised by the Uttarakhand Technical University.

For getting admission in the BTech course at GBPUAT it is necessary for the students to give the JEE Mains exam. Additionally, minimum 45% aggregate in the class 12 exam is required. For admission in the BTech Lateral Entry Programme the students are required to appear for the counselling with the Diploma merit and qualifying exam result. The GB Pant University provides the students with this opportunity as a result of which the students with Diploma degree can directly take admission in the third semester of the BTech course.

Seats for admission in the BTech course by GBPUAT, is allocated by the counselling process based on the JEE Mains score. Addition to this, the minimum required aggregate for class 12 is 45% (5% relaxation to reserved categories.) with Mathematics and Physics being compulsory subjects.
