The session 2 of JEE Mains exams are expected in the month of April. Interested students for admission in GBPUAT BTech course are highly suggested to appear for the exam and score decent marks. The counselling process for admission into GBPUAT is organised by the Uttarakhand Technical University.

For getting admission in the BTech course at GBPUAT it is necessary for the students to give the JEE Mains exam. Additionally, minimum 45% aggregate in the class 12 exam is required. After the result declaration, the students are advised to sit for the counselling held by UTU and take admission as per the allotted seat in the counselling process.

Yes, you can switch the Global pathway programme after applying for undergraduate programs but you should meet the requirements.
Only the selected undergraduates programs are eligible to apply.
The candidate must complete the required semesters while maintaining the required CGPA. You should be good in english communication.

The counselling process is held by the UTU (Uttarakhand Technical University) for admission into BTech at GBPUAT. The registration process is online. The first round of the counselling is online whereas, the concluding rounds of the counselling process may require students to be physically present at the counselling venue.

For admission in the BTech Lateral Entry Programme the students are required to appear for the counselling with the Diploma merit and qualifying exam result. The GB Pant University provides the students with this opportunity as a result of which the students with Diploma degree can directly take admission in the third semester of the BTech course.

Seats for admission in the BTech course by GBPUAT, is allocated by the counselling process based on the JEE Mains score. Addition to this, the minimum required aggregate for class 12 is 45% (5% relaxation to reserved categories.) with Mathematics and Physics being compulsory subjects.

The BTech course at GBPUAT includes project and internship work along with the core subjects. The projects and internship give students the platform to analyse and upgrade their interpersonal skills. Both Shiv Nadar University and GBPUAT are decent universities for the BTech course and holds NIRF ranking of 100 and 88 respectively. The fees for studying BTech at Shiv Nadar University is higher than that of GBPUAT but the median salary package offered also has a significant difference. The choice of University depends upon several factors and are very subjective. It becomes important for the students to take informed decision while choosing the college.

GBPUAT scholarships and awards are given to the meritorious students. The students need to first qualify for the scholarship and awards by meeting the pre-set eligibility. Usually the topper student of respective batches from the third and four year of the BTech course are given merit scholarship of INR 2,000
