As per the information taken from student reviews, there is limited hostel facility at UPES Dehradun. The campus cannot accommodate all students. There are a many private hostels available outside the main campus. Students can choose from them as an alternative.

It is a private university and is approved by UGC, Nepal Engineering Council, and AICTE and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities and the International Association of Universities. According to my knowledge as of October 2023, it has been observed that the JEE Main cut off for Haridwar University does differ according to domains and categories . Some of the different programme cutoffs are given below:
