JEE is not required for admission to Graphic Era Hill University (GEHU), Dehradun. However, admission to the B.Tech courses is done on the basis of merit, and candidates applying for these courses are required to appear for JEE Main to be considered eligible for admission. In addition, candidates who scored 60% and above marks in the qualifying exam (10+2 or equivalent) are directly eligible for admission to the B.Tech courses at GEHU.

Students who want to study the UG Level 6 programme in Aerospace engineering at IIAE Dehradun can get direct admission to the programme without any entrance test. Approx. fees for the programme that students need to pay will be INR 8 Lakh. CHO or Certificate in Hospitality Operations is a one-year full-time course.  In the curriculum, an equal emphasis is laid on the theoretical and practical aspects of Hospitality Studies. The first semester includes campus training on core departments of Hospitality/ Hotel Operation along with personality development and application of computers courses. The second semester is devoted to industrial training. Candidates must have passed Class 12 in any stream to apply for CHO course. Aspirants between age of 18 years and 26 years are eligible to apply.
