It all depends on your caliber. Being an IITian, everyone is going to believe that you have done something good in academics so you will have a good chance to get a good firm after doing M.Tech from IIT-Roorkee.

Hi Prashant,
For an SC candidate, you have to score more than 70 percentile to get a sure shot call from IIT-Roorkee. But it is possible if your profile is good and percentile is above 65 you get a call but then you have to perform well in an interview to convert your call.

Hi Mudit,
Every year, the score varies but the percentile remains on an average. If you have a decent profile and you are a General category candidate, you have to get more than 94 percentile for the interview call.

I can't say about all other colleges but Sant Longowal is not as good as expected from a central government college. Gurukula Kangri is not a CO Educational Institute. Please check before filling your choice. SLIET is situated in Longowal, a village in Sangrur district. So please go to other colleges like JKIAPT and IIIT-Manipur because it has an IIIT tag. For my personal view, go to any other colleges but please don't come to SLIET. If there is no option and your JEE rank is not good and you hardly wish to take admission in a central government college then you may think about this college. Finally, make SLIET as your last option and

You need to qualify JEE Mains and then Advanced. On the result day of Advanced and I guess till one or two day later you can fill AAT. Upon qualifying AAT, you will be allotted college in B.Arch of IIT KGP & Roorkee on the basis of JEE Advanced rank.

Hello Ankur,
It's quite tough to migrate from one University to another. There has to be equivalence of course between these two universities. In addition. your college should be willing to allow you to migrate since it will be loosing fees from you. Process has to begin from the college where you are learning at present.
