Candidates can exercise the slot booking of UPESEAT with the link updated on this page or from the official website. Applicants need to enter their preffered exam date, time, slot and centre at the time of slot booking. Slot booking is a process through which candidates choose their preffered date and time slots for appearing in the exam. Basically, it is first-come-first serve process. The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. in Engineering Physics at IIT Roorkee - Indian Institute of Technology other than General category are - 2648 for OBC, 1764 for SC, 894 for ST, 1062 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

The Opening and Closing ranks depend on the category and quota of candidates. For the IIT Roorkee cutoff 2023, the closing rank was 687. Cutoff are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even the domicile of the home state. In All India, the closing rank for female candidates was 1866.
