For 2023, cut-off was 11388 for General category candidates in the All India quota for BTech in Metallurgical Engineering in IIT BHU, Varanasi - Indian Institute of Technology. The cut-off rank in Round 6 for B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering is 6694 which is very close to this range. This was for the general category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut-offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increase your chances of getting admission to IIT BHU, Varanasi - Indian Institute of Technology.

The year 2023 cutoff ranks for BTech in Electronics Engineering at IIT BHU, Varanasi - Indian Institute of Technology other than General category are - 1374 for OBC, 926 for SC, 443 for ST, 472 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE Advanced, the last cut-offs also change a lot depending on the All India quota or Home State.
