The 2023 placement session concluded with 84.66% of the BTech batch placed. A total of 187 companies visited the campus offering 746 job offers to BTech students. The NIT Durgapur average package for BTech stood at INR 13.62 LPA and the highest package offered was INR 70 LPA. Candidates need to pass Class 12 (Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology as an optional subject) with at least 75% aggregate to apply for NIT Durgapur BTech admission. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission. Besides eligibility, aspirants must also qualify JEE Main followed by JoSAA Counselling to get a seat in BTech programme.
