I hope you are doing well. For B.Tech, you will definitely get the admission in this college with 2 lack rank in JEE because the general cut-off is around 5 lakhs average for all the branches. Go for counselling and get the admission in this college easily. For B.Pharma also, you will get the admission.

Having completed my Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication and MA in Mass comm from two of the leading universities of West Bengal, Calcutta and Jadavpur respectively, I can tell you this - it's all worth it.
But education is just ONE side of the coin. Hard work pays off. 1. JGEC is a government institute whereas Techno India is private. This means the total expenditure in JGEC (including college and mess fees for 4 years) is about 1.8-2.5 Lacs for non core department and less than 1.5 Lacs for core departments. But in Techno India, it is around 4 Lacs- only the college fees for four years.
2. JGEC is one of the best government institutes in West Bengal.
3. JGEC has scenic beauty but is away from Kolkata. Techno India is in Kolkata.
