As seen AEC is one of the premier institutes in W.B for engineering, if you are eligible for admissions you will get a call for counselling. Other colleges you can try are Meghnad Saha, IEM,Techno India University,Heritage College and UEM.

Hi Ganesh,
You did not mentioned which course is doing now? There are many colleges offer Value Added courses along with Degrees and Masters. This will help students to find a job easier and getting adequate knowledge in some areas.
For Example, if you are doing BBA/ B Com courses, you can do add on courses in
1. Digital Marketing
2. SAP
3. Computerized Accounting etc.
BCA / B.Sc-IT/CS, B Tech -CSE / IT students can take
1. Web Applications and Development2. Cloud Computing 3. Networking4. Software Testing etc. along with graduate studies
Learning English and Communication skills, Business Writing skills will be an added advantage.

It will be difficult for you to go for IIM-C as you need to have better scores in the past academic records and if you don't have that you need to get minimum of 99percentile in CAT to stand a chance as the competition for IIMs is a lot. All the best
