Yes, De Paul Institute of Science and Technology (DiST) is a good institute. The college is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college follows a industry-oriented curriculum, with a focus on hands-on learning and project-based education. The institute has a decent placement record and other facilities such as infrastructure, faculty members and labs are also decent. So overall this institute is a good college.

Students should have passed 10+2 with English and one of Pure Mathematics, Business Mathematics, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics to be eligible for St. Xavier's College, Kolkata's Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) program. The eligibility for the BMS course is not met by pursuing Economics without any of these math courses. Therefore, if you don't have the mathematical background, you are not eligible for this course.
