The admission to the B.A LL.B programme is based on the merit list prepared based on the Entrance Examination conducted by the University of Calcutta. Yes, absolutely! Jadavpur University does accepts students who passed through improvement exams for admission to it B.Tech program. There is no such specified norm that an improvement exam can affect the admission process of a student to any course.

SVIST is a decent college for B.Tech. The 50% of total students get placed. The highest package is around 4 to 5 LPA and the minimum is around 3 to 3.5 lpa. So the placement records are not so good. But if you have skill then you get the job by applying for the job in your respective dream company.
