JIS University admissions are currently open for various courses. Candidates are selected for courses based on their entrance exam scores. The university offers various courses such as BTech, BPharma, MBA, PhD etc. at the UG, PG and PhD level. Apart from the UG and PG courses the university also offers three Diploma courses, i.e., Diploma in Hotel Management, Diploma in Food Production and Bakery and Diploma in Fodd and Beverages services. Interested candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can fill out the form.

The batch strength for the PGDM in Business Analytics program at Praxis Business School is around 60-70 students. Smaller batches like these have allowed for more individual attention by faculty and, subsequently, a great learning environment.

The previous years' cutoff marks to attain admission to PG Diploma in IIMC, Kottayam is generally in the range of 297-663 for the General category only. It should be noted that the above cutoff ranks may change with the programme of study and category. For example, the passing marks in terms of cutoff rank for admission to PG Diploma in Journalism was 566-651. The cutoff ranks by no means are fixed for each passing year, still the admission is systematic and also the other components including Counseling and Seat Allotment. The placement ratio of IIMC PG Diploma is quite appreciable which ranges from 70-80 percent. As mentioned above the median salary package goes up to INR 4-6 Lacs per annum respectively. The major recruiting organizations are the media houses, public relation agencies, and business companies. Most of the recruits are hired by Malayala Manorama Company, Mathrubhumi and Asianet Companies. Upon graduating, between 20 to 25% of learners continue to post primary institutions or pursue business. The maximum salary output among the internships was between INR 8 to 10 Lacs per annum. B.A. LL.B. offered by the Faculty of Law at Calcutta University maintains average placement records among the students. As per the information obtained from students various law firms come to the campus for recruitment and offer package of INR 15000 to 20000 per month. The college also offers internships with pays of approximately INR 2000 per month. Though the placement cell is not fully functional students have found placements in various government and private sectors . The university overall they provide 120 seats for B.A. LL.B. program, the candidate selection will be through Calcutta University Law Entrance Test (CULET-UG).

If you have studied PCBM (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths) in 12th and are weak in Mathematics, you can still be eligible for B.Tech Biotechnology. Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata generally asks for JEE Main or WBJEE score for admission to Biotechnology. However, basic knowledge of mathematics is necessary in biotechnology. If you focus on important topics of mathematics and are interested in the course, then you can choose it.

Yes, the Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science and Technology is approved. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education  and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

As of December 18, 2024, the University of Calcutta has not yet announced the admission dates for the Postgraduate (PG) Agriculture programs for the 2025 academic session. In the previous cycle, the university extended the application deadline to September 13, 2024, for M.Sc. and B.Tech. admissions, including those in Agricultural Sciences.
