The Medical college,   Kolkata offers various Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), Diploma and other certification courses. The courses at this college are given to students at a lower fee compared to that of other Colleges. The Medical college, Kolkata is a public institution that is run by the government of India. This is the reason why the courses provided by this college has lower tuition fees. The UG courses available at the this college are as follows.

The total amount of tuition fee for MBBS at the Medical college of Kolkata is 45,000. The fee for this course in other colleges are high, especially in the private medical colleges. The fee in this institution is affordable and reasonable. The Dayanand Medical college and hospital charges around 11 Lacs for the MBBS course. Yes, Medical College, Kolkata is better than Dayanand Medical college and hospital. The education that the colleges offer are of good quality. But the difference in the fees for which the courses are offered are drastic. For example, the MBBS course offered at the Medical college, Kolkata is 45,000, whereas the MBBS course offered at the Dayanand Medical college is 11 Lakhs. There is a difference in lakhs.

The cutoff varies for the various categories the candidates belong to. For example NEET 2023 cutoff details.

General categories- 720 to 137 (50%),  OBC/ST/SC - 136 to 107, etc. (40%)
