The provision of direct admissions for BA courses at the University of Calcutta is not applicable. To get admissions into BA courses, applicants are required to complete the basic eligibility requirements and go through a selection process. However, the admission requirements and provision of direct admission can be different at affiliated colleges and institutions. For that, applicants must visit the official website of the particular institute.

Yes, Calcutta University does offer BA courses as general and honours courses for the duration of three years, divided into six semesters. The university offers BA courses through the affiliated colleges and its campus. To get admission into the courses, applicants are required to complete their Class 12 with relevant subjects.

As per the cutoff data, the last round closing rank for the BTech course ranged between 1208 and 95,829 for the General All India category students. Electronics & Communication Engineering and Information Technology emerged as the most competitive specialisation.
