A commerce student can pursue research degree in commerce only. Your post-graduation will decide what PhD you will be allowed to do. However, now in India we have got the Inter Disciplinary Research allowed as well. Just see whether you can do an Inter Disciplinary Research with psychology. Pure psychology PhD is not easily possible. You can do a PG degree in psychology and then do a PhD without any objection.

While B.Com is the most preferred course you can choose it or otherwise you can go for either BCA or CA, which is a little hard but very useful study.

Hello Aditya,
Yes, Maths is very much compulsory for DU JAT, if you are applying for BMS. You should have Maths either as an additional subject (6th subject) or as an optional subject (5th subject) in class 12th.

Yes, commerce students can pursue BCA even after being from non-mathematical background. Many universities provide admission to such students/candidates. Just look for that university and college, as you've already studied computer Science in your +2, BCA will be relatively easy for you. If you want to learn programming languages which you will be studying in your BCA course then you can check out this app which is specially designed and developed for BCA students. It has programs and assignments of languages like C, C+ and Java with their outputs. You'll be studying these languages in your 3 years of BCA. https://play.google.com/store
