The requirements for admission to Accounting and Commerce colleges vary from institution to institution. The following is widely acceptable for admission to colleges at the UG and PG levels:

  • Majority of accounting and commerce colleges need students to have at least a 60% average on their Class 12 exams in order to be admitted. 
  • In order to be qualified for admission to universities of accounting and commerce, students must have completed graduation by at least 50%.

During the 2022 placement drive, around 75 recruiters visited the campus for the placement drive. 350+ students were placed and 390+ students received the offer letter. The highest package stood at IRN 36.5 LPA, offered by Trilogy Innovations. The average package and the median package stood at INR 5.49 LPA and NR 5.4 LPA respectively.  

Some of the top recruiters include Deloitte, KPMG, TresVista, Wipro, Pwc, and many more.

Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce admissions 2023 for Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs will be based on Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores which are conducted by National Test Agency. In 2022, the cutoff marks for Bachelor of Science (Honors) Computer Science was 776. For this year, the expected cutoff for BSc at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce is 650.

Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce admissions 2023 for UG and PG programs will be based on Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores which are conducted by NTA. Admissions to UG courses will be based on CUET UG marks followed by the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) while admission to PG courses will be done through the CUET PG examination. Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) for PG admissions is scrapped for now and is replaced by CUET PG from the academic year 2023.

In 2022, the CUET cutoff was 630.5 for BMS at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce. The weightage of selection for BMS admission is the entrance exam: 65% and qualifying exam: 35%. The minimum marks required for BBA at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce are 50% marks in the 12th grade final exams along with DUJAT.
