B.Sc. Stands for Bachelor of Science. B.Sc. Computer Science is a Bachelors Degree programme. Technically, it is a Science course. However, Physics is not included in its syllabus and Concepts of mathematics related to CS is included in course syllabus. This professional course focuses on the discipline of computer Science. The course covers important topics related to computer Science such as coding, programming languages, computer hardware and software, networking, database management, information technology, mathematics, statistics and electronics. The academic programme consists of both classroom lectures and lab sessions. Lab sessions (practicals) are as important as classroom lectures. Regards.

CA involves study of diverse subjects ranging from Accounts to Law to Taxation to Financial Management. CS is primarily concentrated on Law. Though other subjects like Accounts & Taxation are part of CS curriculum they are not covered in depth. CS is relatively easier in the sense it is more flexible. In CS if you score above 60 marks in a subject you need not write that subject again for lifetime however in CA this exemption is restricted to 3 attempts or 1.5 years. CS offers certain exemption from subjects on basis of qualifications like CMA, LL.B. Etc. CA offers no such exemptions. Further it is compulsory to complete training in CA in order to write final exam and get the membership certificate. Training has to be under a practising CA only. There is no such requirement for CS. CS can complete his training after his Final under a practising CS or a notified Company. The duration of training of CS is also lower than CA articleship. Having said that both the courses are professional courses and offer excellent career prospects.
